Zips are an important part in many garments whether you are using them as a statement piece, by choosing a contrasting colour, or to be subtly inserted into a garment... We try to bring you the biggest choice of colours and lengths for all projects whether you are making an elegant evening dress, to repairing your favourite winter coat. Closed Ended Zips are just that. They are joined together at the bottom so are perfect when used in dresses, skirts, trousers and many other items of clothing. We have various different closed ended zips to consider:
  • Concealed Zips- They will subtly insert into clothing where you can only see the pull. These are a great option for evening wear as they wont distract from the garment and come in 8",9", 16" and 22".
  • Dress Zips- Available in a huge choice of colours and starting from as little as 4" to 22". We are more than happy to find the best colour match available.
  • Jeans Zips- These are strong Zips with brass teeth come in a choice of subtle colours. Available in 4,6,7 and 8 inches.
  • Nickel Trouser Zips- These zips have silver coloured metal teeth and are very strong.
Open Ended Zips come completely apart and are used in jackets, bags  and coats. We have a great choice of different finishes depending on the garment...
  • Heavy Duty Zips- These are only available in black and are extra strong. Ideal for garments under a lot of pressure such as work wear and rucksacks.
  • Metal Open Ended Zips- You can buy these in various colour and have metal teeth. They are ideal for coats and jackets.
  • Nylon Open Ended Zips- Have fine teeth and come in a choice of colours. They start from 10" and reach up to 36"!
  • Plastic Open Ended Zips- These are the 'chunky' zips which look great in fleeces and jumpers and come in the same widths as nylon zips.
