Now we have bid a sad farewell to the summer our thoughts have turned to Winter Fabrics and new season dressmaking projects to keep ourselves and our loved ones warm through the cold winter months. Although I adore working on floaty summer dresses and tops during the warmer months, the change in season presents the perfect opportunity to experiment with a new selection of Winter Fabrics and designs. During the winter season, I particularly enjoy experimenting with a more structured silhouette and super cute printed fabrics and of course, there are many events during the upcoming season which will give me the chance to work on more formal projects such as Christmas and New Year celebrations. According to leading fashion publications and the collections we have already seen on the catwalk, this season is all about warding off the cold in sixties silhouettes, printed fabrics and flashes of metallic gold.
