In the world of weddings and Bridal Fabrics the biggest news of this last week, and possibly all year, has been the long awaited nuptials of Hollywood power couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The past few years has seen rumour after rumour having us believe that the couple have secretly tied the knot and every time we have been left disappointed when the rumours have turned out to be unfounded. This time however, Brad and Ange took us completely by surprise when they announced that they had indeed took the plunge with a quiet civil ceremony at Chateau Miraval in France. The bride, who has previously been married to Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller, left us all speechless by choosing a surprisingly traditional gown. The Tomb Raider actress is famous for her love of black and has been seen gracing many a red carpet in a daring black dress paired with her famous trademark red lips but for her big day, Angelina opted for a more traditional choice of gown. Designed by Donatella, the Atelier Versace gown was in the traditional bridal shade of white, crafted from a beautiful antique lace and silk Bridal Fabric. Being parents to six children, Brad and Angelina are famous for their strong family ties and this bond was more evident than ever at their wedding ceremony. It is reported that all of the couples children played a special role in the ceremony and the famous mum showed how proud she is of her little ones by incorporating her children's artwork into her otherwise simple and classic gown. Angelina's skirt and veil boasted intricate embroidery of a number of charming childhood sketches including The Eiffel Tower and it was not only dress design in which the couple's children lent a hand; it is believed that their 10 year old son Pax was also responsible for baking the celebration cake.
