Like any dressmaker, I have been keeping a close eye on the catwalks for a sneak peak of the latest trends. Last season, it was all about monochromes, which as a result saw sales of our black and white dressmaking fabrics soar. For Autumn 2013/14 the rigid monochrome prints look set to give way to the softer prints of traditional tartan fabrics. Tartan, traditionally associated with the national dress of Scotland, is back and in a big way. The designer collections gracing the catwalks of Autumn 2013 have paved the way for skirts, tops and dresses in a range of checked designs to hit the shelves of high street stores. Our extensive range of tartan dressmaking fabrics will allow you to create a multitude of fashionable items with your own unique twist.
Not just for ladies dressmaking, our tartan fabrics are perfect for all of the family. This warm, durable fabric is perfect for creating mens shirts and are available in a variety of bold colours and patterns to ensure the whole family is fashionably dressed this season. All of our fashionable tartan fabrics are manufactured in the UK and are perfect for creating a range of on trend items.
