Its been many years since we have experience such a glorious summer, to say its been over due is an understatement if ever there was one. One of the best things about a lovely hot summer is finally being able to get some wear out of our summer wardrobes. The summer trends this year have been exciting, fun and easy to replicate too which is always a bonus.
Summer Trend - Spandex Jersey
The shops are currently full of jump suits, not only is this summer trend classy but jump suits can also be tailored to suit every shape and every occasion. Personally I am a fan wrap over top with a skinny leg because this style suits my shape. Here at Calico Laine we sell a lovely spandex jersey which would be ideal for this kind of outfit. The summer trend however is bright crayon colours so perhaps i'll branch out into a royal or summery red.
The summer trends this years are very elegant I think. The catwalk and high street are full of floral prints which again can be suited to all shapes and sizes. Large floral prints are suited better to larger figures because they can over whelm someone with a small frame. The reverse also works, so smaller prints are better suited to smaller people. The summer trends at the moment cover all floral designs. Luckily this seasons summer trends are very easy to replicate and are very versatile. As well as jump suits and floral patterns you could also include some colourful stripes, a fancy kimono or a bold piece to statement jewelry to enhance your summer collection and look right on trend. Summer trends change year by year but I always like to make a bit of effort.
