Below I will talk a little about some of the most popular summer dressmaking fabrics that we have here at Calico Laine.
  1. Chiffon: This beautiful fabric come in a variety of different widths and weights. My favourite of all the chiffons is the cationic chiffon. It looks and feels like a pure silk, but it is in fact 100% polyester.
  2. Poplin: A staple fabric that as a company we have sold for over 30 years. Poplin is perfect for summer shirts and dresses.
  3. Gingham: Another classic summer material, gingham has been around for many years and is as popular as ever. We offer a vast range of gingham.
