Today I would like to take a look at some of the Cheap Fabrics available and how they can be incorporated into your projects....
One of our most popular Cheap Fabrics is Economy Satin which comes in a huge range of colours to suit all tastes! This firstly proves to be an extremely popular choice of Dressmaking Fabric due to its versatility and ease to work with. As well as being great for those who are working within a budget, Economy Satin is also a great Cheap Fabric to use as a lining material for heavier fabrics being used on garments such as coats. It also makes a comfortable lining to go under other Dressmaking Fabrics such as Printed Chiffons, which are also in stock ready for the summer here at Calico Laine!
Another one of our best selling Cheap Fabrics is polycotton Gingham. This range of Cheap Fabrics also comes in a great selection of colours as well as a choice of sizes (!/4", 1/8" and Large Check). Gingham has always proven to be a very versatile Cheap Fabric that is often used for garments such summer dresses and also items such as shirts.
