Printed Crepe at Calico Laine
Printed crepe fabrics are our absolute favourites, and if you are a frequent customer, you know we are always updating this range. Our latest additions are these stunning floral, almost William Morris-esque designs. These are incredibly drapey and soft, meaning these are perfect for summer blouses and dresses for your holidays. We have these in four colourways; Berry, Jade, Khaki and Tan
to suit a wide variety of styles and patterns.
Pearl Faced Duchess Satin Fabric
We are very passionate about our wide Satin Fabrics range, so much so that we have expanded. Our Pearl Faced Duchess Satin is brand new in at Calico Laine and is a stunning mid-weight duchess satin fabric. This luxurious fabric has a soft, almost nap-like surface, with a beautiful drape. This fabric is ideal for any dressmaking project, particularly evening and event dresses. The slightly lighter handle allows you to create softer gathers and pleats for that gorgeous feminine look. Our huge colour range means we have everything you need, regardless of your project or style.
Knitting Wool
Here at Calico Laine, we are proud of our extensive knitting wool and accessories range. We aim to bring you the latest of Stylecrafts stunning products and we are so excited about our latest additions. Our popular Bambino Wool has just expanded their lovely colour range, meaning you can keep on knitting for your little ones. Due to the anti-pill finish, this high-quality, incredibly soft wool is ideal for any double knit pattern.
Brand new in at Calico Laine, is the Monet Aran yarn range. This is an Acrylic/Cotton mix that knits up to create a stunning speckled dye-effect. We are also very excited about the new Moonbeam collection. This has a silky tape twisted in periodically throughout the yarn, meaning this knits up to create a silky striped effect. This is definitely a fun Summer knitting wool and is great for a wide variety of projects. My current favourite colour is the Blue Basalt!
