We have recently had lots of new and exciting Dress Fabrics arrive here at calico laine in stunning designs, colours and compositions all perfect for creating pretty last minute summer garments whilst we still have good weather. Some of these brand new Dress Fabrics include printed chiffons, printed jersey, cotton spandex and many more that all feature unique bright prints that will get everyones head turning.

Leopard Print Chiffon Fabric[/caption]
Our new printed chiffons consist of two out-going leopard print designs in purple and brown as well as two more subtle designs in pastel shades so there is a choice for everyone. These chiffons are all 150cm wide and are composed of either polyester or cotton giving them a lovely quality and drape ideal for light flowing garments in the warmer months. The printed jersey fabrics are also very out there when it comes to their eye-catching colours and designs. The new blue animal print lycra jersey is another colour option to one of our previous lycra jersey prints that was a sell out so we know this fabric is going to sell fast. As well as this unique jersey the others consist of a multiple square print in green and pink and a sequin jersey material that is excellent quality and lined in our well know cotton lawn fabric. As these jersey fabrics are 4-way stretch they are the ideal material for creating comfortable clothing that allows you movement when wearing and are also a popular choice for creating dance wear and fancy dress costumes.
Another new exciting Dress Fabric that arrived with us is three brand new leopard cotton spandex prints in slightly different colour options of orange, red and turquoise that all stand out and will make up stunning garments such as dresses, skirts and trousers. These cotton spandex materials are all 145cm wide with a composition of cotton and spandex allowing movement when made up into garments. We also had a delivery of a few heavier weight Dress Fabrics including a new heavy weight crushed velvet and new velveteen material that will both be more suitable for the colder months. They are available in more toned down shades such as chocolate, burnt orange and maroon that will be ideal for the new season change.
