Here at Calico Laine we have recently got a wide range of Motifs for our Crafts Section. Motifs are a great way to personalise your clothes, bags and accessories by making them unique and eye-catching with different designs and are great for all ages. We sell a large variety of different designed iron on motifs including butterflies, flowers and sport designs.
Motifs are perfect for Craft Projects and are very simple to use. The first step to appliqué your Motif is to pre-heat your iron and to place the motif on the desired garment or accessory. Next you place a damp or fine dry cloth over the motif depending on the design and iron over the top pressing the motif down for around 8-10 seconds. You then have to turn over the fabric and iron on the reverse side for the same amount of time making sure the motif is secure. All our motifs come with full instructions on the back of each packet if you need them.

My personal favourite selection in our Crafts Section is the Butterfly Motifs. The Butterfly Motifs are so bright and colourful that they catch your eye straight away. Some of the designs are sequinned and others have beads which make them more interesting and feminine. The Sports Motif section is also available for males to personalise their garments and accessories also.
