A few weeks ago I wrote about our new range of Net Curtains that were being added to our already extensive selections of Nets at Calico Laine. These have now arrived in our warehouse and we have some fabulous new designs. When most people think of Net Curtains, they have an image in their head of older people and retirement homes. We have found that it is not only the older generation who are buying Net Curtains but a wide age range especially as there are now a multitude of modern designs to choose from. My personal favourite are the Oasis Net Curtains which have a birdcage and bird design on them. This birdcage design is very popular at the moment in the shops on clothes, stationary, bags and accessories and I particularly like the design on Net Curtains as it makes a welcome change to the usual plain Nets or geometric patterns. This design is available in the standard 11 drops, from a 36" drop up to a 90" drop. With a slotted top they are ready to be hung straightaway with either a rod or curtain wire. This design of Net Curtain would be ideal if you have a plain decor and want to add some pattern via your window dressing. Net Curtains can be used on their own at a window or can be in addition to curtains for extra privacy when the curtains are not drawn. If you have highly patterned fabric curtains, which is popular with modern interiors, you may wish to choose a plain design such as our Manhattan Net Curtains or Plain Net Curtains as they will compliment your curtains.
