Last week saw celebrities gathering for the annual Met Ball in New York. Formally known as the Costume Institute Gala or Met Gala, the ball is a fundraising event to raise money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute as well as being the official opening for the annual fashion exhibition at MOMA.
