Baize is a particularly high quality material with a super soft surface, Most often used for lining snooker tables, card tables, draws and cabinets baize is composed of 80% wool and 20% cotton the heavy nap of this fabric will prevent objects from slipping. Most often purchased in shades of green, we also carry baize in a variety of alternative colour options such as red and blue. Due to it's excellent quality, baize is much higher in price compared to some of our other Heavy Quality Fabrics and if you are working to a budget, felt is a fantastic, cost effective alternative. Our huge range of felt fabrics includes self adhesive felt which is also a fantastic choice for lining cabinets, drawers and notice boards and is particularly popular with schools for craft lessons.
