Every year, we have brides-to-be contacting us to provide them with fabric and Haberdashery for their upcoming weddings and this year is no different. I am particularly excited about bridal season this year however as my sister is getting married and I am chief bridesmaid! Working at Calico Laine, I have been particularly useful helping her pick things from our entire range of products for all aspects of the wedding.
Over the Easter holiday, a small amount of family and friends will be jetting off to Cyprus to see my sister and brother in law getting hitched and later in the year they will be having a big party to celebrate. The colour theme is duck egg blue and teal shades which can be a difficult shade to find however with the huge range at Calico Laine we managed to find some fabrics and Haberdashery that were perfect.

With most of the big details being organised by a wedding co-ordinator in Cyprus, my sister only had the little details to figure out. To add a bit of colour to the tables at the wedding breakfast she chose some Turquoise Bridal Petals from our Haberdashery range which could be scattered across the top table. To finish the wedding cake off, she picked a 35mm Malibu Blue ribbon from our Satin Ribbon collection and for an extra bit of colour across the tables she chose our Organza Snow Sheer. When organising a wedding, most people concentrate on fabric that they would like to use for their wedding dress or bridesmaids but they forget that our Haberdashery department can be just as important.
