Bags can be one of the most effective items of your wardrobe. They can be as decorative or simple as you like. Whether your making a bag from scratch or embellishing an old bag- we have everything for it. You could use nearly any fabric you want to make a bag- I would recommend using something strong such as Gaberdine or Good Quality Calico. If you are making a bag you will more than likely need a bag handle. We sell different types of bag handles ranging from plastic to bamboo and round to long. They're easy to fix on to your bag and look fantastic. You may also need Buckram to stiffen up your bag, e.g the bottom of the bag or even the sides. Our Buckram comes in different widths up to 12", these also come in fusible or sew on- which ever you find easiest will do fine. We then sell different fasteners which you could use, including; Magnetic bag fasteners which come in small or large and gold or silver. Press studs which also come in a huge variety of sizes and in black or silver. Or even a simple and effective button or velcro. To embellish your old or new bag, there are many things you could use such as our sew on or stick on diamanté.  These also come in hot fix where you react the glue on the back of the stone with heat and they're practically impossible to come off. If you would like to use the glue on stones then I would recommend our Gem-Tac glue which is extremely strong and washable. We also sell ribbons and ribbons embellishments which would look fab as a decorative statement on a bag. There is then feathers in which you could use for a statement on your updated bag.
