Haberdashery covers such a large and wide choice of different items. At Calico Laine we have amassed a great selection of haberdashery that will keep any dressmaker or sewer going. In my entry today I am going to cover some of my personal favourites from our extensive range of haberdashery. Bias Binding: This really is a must have item to keep in your sewing box. At Calico Laine we offer  bias binding in cotton, polycotton and satin finishes. These all come in a choice of different widths as well. Zips: In a kind of strange way I really like how versatile and amazing zips are. They truly are a great invention and get used on so many different things from shoes right through to decorations. Threads: As with the other two items I have covered, threads get used every day without fail and really are a must have item. We offer a massive choice of different threads from leading brands such as Moon and Gutermann. Ribbons: A very popular item both instore and also online, ribbons have been around for a long time and have always been popular at Calico Laine. In recent years the range of ribbons has really expanded and now you can get pretty much any kind of ribbon you want! Scissors: A real must have item! A good pair of well looked after scissors really is a must for any seamstress or regular dressmaker. I really like the Fiskars scissors and I know a lot of our customers  and Facebook fans do as well. These really are good quality and are well worth investing in.
