Felt and Baize are so versatile, they can be used for an array of different uses whether you are dressmaking, using it for crafts or for more specialized reasons such as covering snooker tables or using it for displays. Depending on what you need to do, there are a few options in which product to use.
You can buy
Felt by the meter which comes in a choice of some lovely rich colours. Our Felt is 180 cm wide and is 300 grams per square meter in weight. The great thing about felt is it is really easy to work with and doesn't fray. You can easily cut felt with scissors into your desired shapes and will keep children occupied for hours as there are so many possibilities in what they can make! If you need smaller pieces of felt, you can purchase felt squares which come in a choice of different sizes:
- 9" x 9"
- 12" x 12"
- 18" x 18"
- 24" x 24"
Not only are the felt squares great value for money but they come in a selection of over 20 fabulous colours! If you are wanting to stick your felt down, you can use a glue (which we have many to choose from) or we would recommend the spray adhesive which is great for covering larger surface areas!
We also have a
Self Adhesive Felt which is perfect if you want to cover notice boards or display areas, as you simply peel back the backing and stick to your desired area! It is 90 cm wide and comes in a variation of different colours!
Looking for a touch of luxury and need a high quality fabric for pool and snooker tables, or special display cabinets, we have some beautiful Baize. Baize is a high quality material made from beautiful wool form Australia and New Zealand. It comes in a choice of colours: green, emerald, wine, black and navy and comes in 2 different widths depending on what colour you choose!
