Felt is a brilliantly versatile fabric which has uses right across the board whether you are a dressmaker, make craft items, or are just looking for something for the kids Felt has a place everywhere. It can also be used within the home and work place and even schools for lining drawers,cupboards and is commonly used for notice boards to not only add a flash of colour, it also has a practical use! There are a few different options when you are thinking about buying your felt, if you want a large choice of colours, but the option to buy in smaller sizes, you can purchase Felt Squares which come in 4 different sizes:
  • 9" x 9"
  • 12" x 12"
  • 18" x 18"
  • 24" x 24"
This is a great way to buy them, especially if you are a lover of crafts as you can easily create a number of different ideas without much wastage! There are a huge 20 vibrant colours to choose from and with Christmas not too far away, you can create some beautiful tree decorations, gift ideas and are ideal for schools as Felt doesn't fray and can easily be cut into all sorts of different shapes! We also have recently introduced the Super Fine Felt, which has a lovely lightweight feel to it! It can be used very much in the same way as normal felt but is even more luxuriously soft to the touch! It is 90cm wide and great value for money... If you are looking to buy felt is larger quantities, you can buy it by the meter! Our traditional Felt Fabric is very wide at 180cm and is available in some lovely colours. Perfect for notice boards and display cabinets as it is made from 30% wool 70% viscose... It also weighs 300 grams per square meter! If you are looking to glue it onto a notice board, you can use a spray adhesive which will enable you to cover a wide surface area, it also dries clear so will be subtle! We also have a Self Adhesive Felt which is a brilliant product. It has a plastic backing which peels off so you can stick it on to your chosen surface! Baize is a real top quality product which is commonly used for pool tables, display cabinets and drawers.
