Feathers!

We have some great Feathers here at Calico Laine in all sorts of colours and finishes whether you are looking to enhance a garment, add to a fascinator or even for novelty purposes. All of our Feathers are natural and come some stunning vibrant colours and different sizes. Our Ostrich Feathers are the largest at 24-27 inches and have a great element of movement to them We have a selection of fantastic colours which look really effective when combined together.  Ostrich Feathers are used in fancy dress, showtime productions and even as table decorations. If you are looking for a simple design which are also available in array of bright colours, the Indian Feathers would be a great choice! They are 330 mm long and have a shorter span than the ostrich feathers and are firmer to the touch. Ideal to wear in the hair or even incorporated into your dressmaking and fancy dress ideas. We also have Feather Boas and Marabou Feather which come on long pieces so can be draped around interiors and as statement pieces on garments. We have a lovely choice of classy smaller feather which are commonly used on hats and fascinators-

• Diamanté Feathers- These are a stunning feather which come in a stem of 6 with light fluffy coloured feathers entwined with diamanté stems. You can manipulate the stems to your desired shape and are easily fixed onto head pieces.
• Diamond/Boa Bunch- A delicate looking feathered bunch with longer stranded detailing.
• Diamond Feathers- Simple, diamond shaped individual feathers.
• Pom Pom Feathers-  These are cute little feathers which have more of a rounded finish to them.
