With the last quarter of the year approaching fast, many of our customers are planning their winter sewing projects to make sure they keep warm during the cold weather, but are still able to enjoy their dressmaking hobbies. One of the most popular choices for this time of year is our fleece Dressmaking Fabrics - it is always at the top of our recommendation list for winter clothing, and it is guaranteed to keep you warm and cosy over the cold season. Recently we have added a fantastic amount of new fleece Dressmaking Fabrics to our stock; these include plain colours ranging from beautiful bold and bright shades to jewel tones and the ever popular black and white, as well as tons of new patterns including ones perfect for any age. We even have paw print patterns for any privileged furry friend! Popular items of clothing that are created from fleece are gilets, jackets and pyjamas, as well as accessories such as scarves, hats and gloves. It is also a great Dressmaking Fabric for outdoor sportswear, including clothing suitable for hiking and walking. As an added bonus, our fleece has the advantage of retaining less than 1% of its water weight. This means that you will stay dry while wearing our wonderful fleece no matter what your activity is. Fleece is also recommended for soft furnishings around the home – it is perfect to use for making pillows, throws and blankets for every member of the family. Finally, all of our excellent quality Fleece Fabric is anti-pill – this refers to the characteristic 'bobbles' that can sometimes form on the surface of fleece after washing over and over again. This is common in bad quality fleece. Fortunately, as our fleece is anti-pill, this means that it will go through the washing machine time and time again and continue to look like new on the other side of the rinse, with no pills at all.
