her upcoming wedding in Cyprus. As well as making table decorations for the wedding reception, my sister wanted to have her bridesmaid dresses handmade in order to recreate a style of dress she already owned. To find her fabric I told her to have a look through our huge range of Dressmaking Fabrics Online.
After having a look through our Dressmaking Fabrics Online she chose to use our turquoise cationic chiffon with a turquoise lycra jersey lining which was ideal to match with the duck egg blue/aqua colour scheme of the wedding. The dresses featured a pleated chiffon top with a v neckline. Around the centre of the dress was an ivory and turquoise band which was made from two pieces of cationic chiffon sewn into strips and plaited with one another to create a twisted effect.

The wedding took place on the 17th April and as expected the weather in Cyprus was perfect, a lovely sunny day with a cool sea breeze to take the edge off the heat. The turquoise cationic chiffon looked gorgeous in the sunshine and really stood out on all of the pictures. I think she definitely chose the right colour from all of our Dressmaking Fabrics Online.
