There are so many things you can make with one fabric, here are some of my favourite Dressmaking fabrics right now: Linen Our Linen Fabrics come in a variety of beautiful colours and really are excellent quality. They are made from 55% Linen and 45% cotton, they are all 137cm wide. The weight of the fabric is amazing and would look stunning if it was made into a skirt, blazer or even trousers, it really is a versatile fabric and perfect for the summer. Microfibre Microfibre is a fabric that can be used for winter or summer clothing it really is an all year round fabric. With summer fast approaching though Microfibre is perfect to be used if you are looking for that classy evening dress or a summery mid-length skirt or dress. Microfibre flows wonderfully and is one of my favourite fabrics, it is made from 100% polyester and is 150cm wide. We stock a wide variety of colours and patterns, this really is a beautiful fabric. Viscose Jersey Maxi Dresses or Maxi Skirts are very in fashion this time of year and Viscose Jersey is the perfect fabric to make these. The fabric is so easy to work with, all you have to do is sew two rectangles together, adding a little elastic at the top and you have yourself a very basic but pretty maxi dress. It has a 4 way stretch, it hangs beautifully and isn't too thick making it wonderful for the summer. It is made from 100% Viscose and is 150cm wide.
