Today I am going to talk a little about our range of beautiful Dressmaking Fabrics. As a company we have sold fabrics for over 40 years and we really enjoy what we do. This year has already seen the arrival of some truly amazing new fabrics. These come both in plain and patterned designs and in a variety of fabric compositions from polyester right through to 100% cotton. Some of the most popular fabrics include:
  • Cotton Prints: This section has really expanded the past couple of weeks and there are some beautiful fabrics now available. My personal favourite are the Firenze summer prints.  These are all 140cm wide and made from cotton and spandex. They come in some fantastic and stunning floral designs.
  • Satin Fabrics: Arguably the most popular of all dressmaking fabrics. We offer a comprehensive range satins including Duchess Satins, Crepe Back Satin and Stretch Satins. These all come in a great choice of both colours and widths.
  • Jersey Fabrics:  The most popular jersey in this section is by far and away the double knit jersey. It is truly amazing quality and customers (and staff!) can't seem to get enough of it. It has been so popular this season that we have added a new range of colours to it.
