Crafting is a great idea for kids and is a fantastic way of filling up those dreary, rainy days and what better way to get your kids interested in Crafts than to have them make something special for their mum on Mothers Day. Mums may love perfume and chocolates at any other time of the year but on Mother's Day, spoil her with a special little something created by their own little angels which can be kept and treasured for a lifetime. There are a number of special and inventive Craft projects for your little ones to get their hands dirty with this weekend and with our wide range of Craft tools your babies can create something truly special for mummy this Mothers Day. Here are just a few simple ideas to get you started:
Hand Print Crafts - kids love hand printing and this is a simple and effective project which involves no sharps or items which may be dangerous in little hands. Our Craft department stock a wide range of non toxic paint products which are safe for children to use. Your child's handprint can be turned into picture such as a butterfly or a flower or try something different and turn your little boy's footprint into a tractor. Handprints are a great way to enjoy the fun of Crafts whilst at the same time creating a snapshot in time of your children.

If you want to try your hand at something a little different, the same method of hand print Crafts can be used on a variety of other items which will make wonderful gifts for mum such as an apron, tea towel or canvas bag.
Bath Salts - mums love being pampered and bath salts always make a great gift. Rather than just buying mum's regular bath salts in their box from the supermarket, make the gift a bit more personal by presenting them in a fabric covered jar tied with a gorgeous piece of ribbon. Our Craft department stock a variety of cards and Craft punches which can be used for creating a personalised gift tag.
Photo Bookmarks - for a particularly sentimental gift use our range of Craft items to create a personalised, photo book mark. Take some small prints of your favourite family photos or take your little ones for a fun photo booth session and affix the strip to a piece of card with non-toxic child safe glue. Use a Craft hole puncher and thread a piece of ribbon through. You can personalise your book mark with a message from your little ones to mum and laminate so your gift will last for years to come.
Have you used any of our Craft items for gifts? As always, we love to see pictures of your creations uploaded to our Facebook page.
