When we talk about cords there really is a huge choice available it can quite easily become confusing. Here at Calico Laine we offer a number of different cords for a whole host of different applications. In todays post I am going to go through the range that we offer and some of their potential uses.

4mm and 6mm Rayon Cord: These are both the same cord, just in different widths. Both of these cords are woven together and are a premium grade cord. These can be used on high quality shopping bags for example.
3mm Anorak Cord: One of our most popular cords, this cord comes in a great choice of different colours and can be used for a number of different things, including emergency pull cords for example.

4mm Polyester Cord: These have been a staple item of stock with us for many years and they are always in demand. Recently we have expanded the range of colours in this cord and they now come in over 15 different colours. These have many uses including being used in hoodies and jackets.
1mm Cord: A great cord, this has many uses from being used in crafts right through to shop decoration. This particular cord is available in black and white only. As an aside, we also stock this cord as a narrow elastic as well in 1mm, 2,5mm and 3mm widths. This also only comes in black and white.
Cords really do have so many different uses and we use them everyday day without really thinking about it. They get used in jackets, light switches, hoodies, blinds and even on curtains!
