Brushed Cotton Dress Fabric[/caption]
Now the evenings are getting darker earlier and getting colder people are starting to think about their winter Dress Fabric and what projects they will be making. One of my favourite dressmaking fabrics for the colder season is brushed cotton, a 100% cotton fabric that is ideal for keeping you warm in the winter.
There is nothing I like better than coming home from work, having a bath and putting my pyjamas on ready to cosy up in front of the television on a dark winter's night and brushed cotton Dress Fabric is a perfect material for making a pair of pyjamas. Brushed cotton is a cotton fabric that has been brushed to remove the lint and fibres to make it very soft. It feels very comfortable against the skin and is also good at keeping you warm. When I was younger, my parents often used to buy brushed cotton pyjamas for us at christmas and they were always lovely to wear and particularly durable as they can be washed at high temperatures and withstand a lot of washing which is just what you need for pyjamas.
