Popular in Bridal gowns at the moment are Lace Fabrics. We have different weights and widths of Lace available, including our basic lightweight Lace Fabric, perfect for table decorations and as an interesting overlay to add a little more detail to your garment. We also have Soft Corded Lace and the ever popular Heavy Corded Lace. These Fabrics are snapped up by customers all year round, and look absolutely stunning both on the roll and even more so when made up. We stock plenty of colour choices too, so whether you are looking for bridesmaid gown Fabrics or even after something to make your Bridal gown a little different to the norm, you have lots to choose from here. If you are after a more understated gown – perhaps glitz and glam isn’t your thing – then take a look at our satin Fabrics. Our first suggestion to all brides who visit us in-store is Duchess Satin. This beautiful Fabric has a heavy weight to it which can be used to make a structured gown, and with at least 36 colours available in our range, it is also a great choice for bridesmaid dresses as well. Shades to choose from include standard Bridal colours such as white, ivory, cream and silver, to the more unusual colours such as lime, melon and sunflower yellow. Perhaps your Bridal and bridesmaid gowns need structure but you don’t want the heavy feel of the Duchess Satin – we recommend our Taffeta as an alternative Fabric choice. Taffeta is stiff but has a lighter weight, making it an excellent choice for skirts that require a bit of ‘poof’. It is a great choice for vintage-style gowns, and also includes a fantastic range of colours to choose from. While these Bridal Fabrics are all great and much sought-after choices, if they are still a little too plain for you then fear not!
