Retail
Our 4500 square ft units based in Neston, Cheshire are open to the public with no appointment necessary, so please feel free to come and have a look around. We also have another retail branch situated in the centre of Liscard, Wirral which is a two storey shop full of the goods you can see here online & more!

Our History
From humble beginnings on the markets of Great Homer Street in Liverpool, Chester, Oswestry, Birkenhead & Neston markets on the Wirral; Calico Laine Textiles was born. The first generation of three started the enterprise by selling fabric remnants, all year round.
This year was when we moved from market trading to retail by opening our first shop in the heart of Liscard Village. The big gamble at the time paid off, as the thriving little shop gained huge popularity and presence over the years. We ceased our outdoor trading activities in 1996.
During this time we opened our eCommerce store and started trading online for the first time in a small office above our Liscard shop. However, we very shortly took on two industrial units, which soon expanded to three and this now forms the warehouse in which all our online orders are processed. This is also open to the public with a shop area for our customers to browse.
The year that our website and branding saw a huge upheaval, bringing a better shopping experience to all our customers. A new fresh looking website with a responsive design, product filters and improved search function provide better website navigation and shopping experience.
